- Abstract
The article discusses the need to educate the public about the signs and symptoms of skin cancer, and it mentions the World Melanoma Month awareness campaign, as well as Great Britain's Sun Awareness Week event and the claim that melanoma is the fifth most common form of cancer in Great Britain. Skin cancer prevention and health education are addressed, along with non-melanoma skin cancer and survival rates for melanoma patients. Skin cancer risk factors are assessed.
