- Abstract
This research paper analyzes the Hollywood Film Production Organizations (OPC) factors to control Mexico's motion pictures market. It details the way in which the OPC massifys their productions. It deals with film production in Mexico, attending movies theaters, box office receipts and selling tickets for Mexican films as a reflection of the consumer desires of domestic audience. It shows the transformation that Mexican cinema went through after the 70s. Some strategies are mentioned to attract viewers, as well. It runs a correlation between the desires of the spectators for movies in commercial halls that stimulates among the audience the appreciation of arts, reflection, learning and entertainment with the monthly expenditure in pesos to watch films that places entertainment before any other feature of the cinema.
