- Abstract
The author comments on the impact of cancer treatment in children on family life and nurses. He states that a study by M. Bjork et al in the 2005 issue of the "Journal of Pediatric Oncology Nursing" focused on the pressures affecting families of cancer patients. He cites that a research by C. Eiser et al in the 2007 issue of "Child: Care, Health and Development" looked at the financial burden of caring for a child undergoing treatment. He adds that another study offered insights on the role of siblings in patient care.
