- Abstract
The article offers information on the study related to efficacy of florfrnicol in the treatment of bacterial infections in halibut. It states that at early life stages, Atlantic halibut larvae are susceptible to bacterial infections often caused by opportunistic Vibrio species. It mentions that there were no signs of spiral swimming, or any other signs resembling those that occur during a nodavirus outbreak and it was suggested that the mortality was caused by a bacterial infection.
