- Abstract
The article reports that on November 6, 2008 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sent federal marshals to Celsus Laboratories Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio to seize contaminated heparin. The FDA felt that the company did not take sufficient action in recalling the products. On March 6, 2008 the FDA had disclosed to the public the potential presence of heparin imported from China that was contaminated with oversulfated chondroitin sulfate.
