- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding the article he read from the newspaper "The Jerusalem Post," which discusses on slaughtering of beef cattle in Uruguay as part of the dietary law kosher of Jews. The author says that the country is a major producer of beef cattle for the consumption of people worldwide, the reason why it is not hard to find a kosher certified plant operating in the area. He mentions the information from professor Temple Grandin regarding animal handling.
