- Abstract
The article discusses the isoproterenol's role in predicting catheter ablation's success in patients with reproducibly inducible atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT). Topics covered include the electrophysiologic study, the withdrawal of all antiarrhythmic drugs at least 5 half-lives before the procedure, and the failure of the persistence of the slow-pathway conduction to predict recurrence.
