- Title
Sexy "Venus" may be oldest figurine yet discovered.
- Abstract
The article reports on the discovery of a 60-millimeter-long Venus figurine which dates back 35,000 years ago. It is stated that the figurine has oversized breasts and thighs, suggesting that ancient humans had sex on their minds. According to Nicholas Conard of Tubingen University in Germany, Paleolithic art was far more complex than many had thought. It also mentions the radiocarbon dating of the figurine, which was excavated from an archaeological dig in southern Germany.
