- Abstract
The article focuses on lawsuits filed by employees which challenge the surveillance efforts by their respective employers. It mentions the lawsuit filed by employees at Houston's Restaurants Inc. against their managers for alleged improper monitoring of comments made by employees on the private chat feature of the online social network MySpace. Furthermore, the court cases show several workplace challenges in the area of informational privacy.
