- Abstract
The article focuses on the summary of a range of theory and research on language and change, wherein discourse is utilized to include conversations, written texts, and stories in organizational development (OD). It states that discourse plays a vital role in the creation of social reality because it establishes, reinforces, and challenges prevailing premises. It adds that change agents should influence the levels of discourse including intrapersonal, interpersonal and group, and socio cultural.
