The article offers poetry criticism of the poetry book "Metropolitan Museum" by Robert Choquette, published in 1931. It reflects on the poetry's relation to the Metropolitan Museum in of Art in New York City. The author examines human destiny and teleological themes in Choquette's poetry, particularly Christian ideas of providence and the progressive views of the Enlightenment and Romanticism.
