- Abstract
The article comments on the efficacy of the security provided by Internet banking worldwide. The author mentions that using public Internet stations in transacting one's electronic banking is disadvantageous because there is a likelihood that hackers can trace the transaction despite the security measures provided by banks. Moreover, he says that users can avoid the risk by using simple short messaging service (SMS) interface like RSA SecurID system, which number changes every few seconds.
