- Authors
Hatch, Derek C.
- Abstract
An essay is presented regarding the claim of theologian Peter Candler that the Thomism concept of American novelist Flannery O'Connor has the similarity with Catholic ressourcement theology, particularly the la nouvelle théologie of French Jesuit Henri de Lubac. It offers the history of Catholic theological discourse in the twentieth-century. The author also discusses the ressourcement of Catholic theology in connection with O'Connor's work.
