- Abstract
The article discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of psychiatry, specifically focusing on a chatbot called ChatGPT. The study highlights ChatGPT's effectiveness in providing information about bipolar disorder, as well as its ability to generate bipolar disorder-related songs. The article suggests that ChatGPT can have broader applications in academic psychiatry, including personalized education, symptom tracking and support, research and hypothesis generation, artistic and creative therapy, patient-provider collaboration, public awareness campaigns, continual learning and adaptation, and expanding research and technology. However, ethical and privacy concerns must be carefully considered when implementing these applications.
