- Abstract
The article examines the anti-terrorism legislation in Southeast Asia. It reports that governments around the world implemented draconian security legislation and restrictive immigration policies which significantly curtailed civil liberties and procedural rights to prevent the extremist ideology of the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ('ISIS) . It discusses the international legal response to terrorism.
