- Abstract
The article focuses on the shift of court system and its impact on the access to justice for complainants of discrimination complaints in Australia. In this regard, a study was conducted to determine the impact of the changes of hearing functions of Human Rights & Equal Opportunity Commission (HREOC) to the federal courts. It reveals that the two related changes in court system contribute a subsequent difficulties experienced by complainants to obtain access to justice to achieve adjudication of discrimination claims.
