Abstract
The article discusses skin cancers of the eyelid which include squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), basal cell carcinoma, and melanoma. It states that detection of early signs such as lumps or bumps and loss of eyelashes is important because eyelid tumors often grow beneath the skin for long period of time. It offers tips on choosing protective sunglasses such as sunglasses with adequate ultraviolet radiation (UV) protection and sunglasses with polarized lens.
