- Abstract
The article focuses on the ecclesial dilemma experienced by the Methodist Church of New Zealand when it affirmed a gay cleric. However, the author emphasizes that the problem of the church is not just about the issue of admitting a gay cleric but the implementation of the relevant procedures and processes. The Welfare of the Church Committee express its concern on the application of consensus decision making model to its business.
