- Abstract
The article offers information on the development, interpretation, and practical application of principles of the legal malpractice actions. It focuses on developments in the accounting malpractice by discussing several factors affecting to it which includes the liability to third parties, its causation, and arbitration. It also highlights the developments in the directors' and officers' liability under the case of In re El Paso Corporation Shareholder Litigation regarding undisclosed conflicts of interest. It presents information on the developments in the insurance brokers and agents malpractice in relevance to the court case Emerson Electric Co. v. Marsh & McClennan Cos. over duty of loyalty and duty of care.
