- Abstract
Root exudate of oilseed rape was collected under water culture, and chemotaxis of Bacillus megaterium A6 towards the exudate was investigated. 7 organic acids and 10 saccharide from the exudates were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Among them, succinic acid and mannitol were the highest and their content reached 31.41μg/plant and 7.21μg/plant respectively. Beaker method and petri dish method were both used to test the chemotaxis of A6 towards root and those specific organic acid and saccharide. Results showed that A6 had chemotaxis towards rapeseed root. It also had chemotaxis towards 6 organic acid and 8 saccharide, especially towards malic acid and sorbitolum.
