- Abstract
The article focuses on the concept of oversigning in college football, which is process of signing of National Letter of Intent (NLI) by student-athletes for scholarships by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It discusses the fundamental principles of contract law, which acts as legal remedy for student-athletes who have been affected by recruiting practice of oversigning. It mentions that the student-athlete is awarded monetary damages in consideration of the financial aid.
