- Abstract
The article presents three case studies concerning a 70-year-old man with chronic visual impairment in the right eye, a 45-year-old woman with acute visual impairment in her left eye, and a 58-year-old woman with chronic visual impairment in her right eye. Topics include intraoperative clouding of acrylic hydrophilic implantation of acrylic foldable intraocular lenses (IOLs), temperature variation as cause of opacification, and pseudocataracts caused due to calcium and phosphate accumulation.
