- Abstract
The article offers information on the decision of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia in the United States v. Maynard in which the court analyzed the issues related with the warrantless use of a global positioning system (GPS) surveillance in the U.S. It discusses the current laws and regulations for reasonable expectation and rights of privacy over the use of an electronic surveillance device under the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court case in United States v. Knotts.
