- Abstract
The article focuses on the multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis and management of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). It states that the PAH is a fatal disease with an average of 2.2 years from onset symptoms to diagnosis and a median survival of 2.8 years after diagnosis without treatment. It mentions that the early diagnosis and treatment can make a substantial difference in the quality of life of the patient as well as decrease the implications of morbidity and mortality.
