- Authors
NEUDORF, LORNE
- Abstract
The article explores section eight of the Canadian charter of Rights and Freedoms, a bill of rights, to evaluate doctrine of reasonable expectation of privacy, with special focus on truckers limited privacy and police warrantless searches. It sheds light on the Canadian Supreme Court case of R v. Nolet in this approach. It concludes that the doctrine's application renders a weak concept of privacy and portrays a threat to the constitutional surety against unreasonable search and seizure.
