- Abstract
The article reports on the management of alcoholics and drug addicts who are still functioning across all sectors and workplaces in Canada. Experts including Toronto-based Dr. Steven Melemis and Rick Csiernik, professor of social work at King's University College in London, cautions co-workers to consider the effect of addiction on work and family. A strong workplace health program and support from friends, family members and colleagues is needed to address this condition.
