- Abstract
The article focuses on the biobanking policies and procedures of institutional review boards (IRBs) to protects biobank participants while advancing research and to collect, store and sharing biospecimens and associated data. Topics discussed includes a study that focuses on the qualitative data from telephone interviews with 22 IRB leaders, how to develop guidance for biobanking and challenges to biobanking guidance.
