The article discusses that two nongovernmental organizations Equiterre and the David Suzuki Foundation have sued the Canadian Government as the government has refused to review the approval of herbicide or pesticide compounds including chlorthal-dimethyl, trifluralin, and trichlorfon which are banned in European Union. It mentions that the Canadian Minister of Health and the Pest Management Regulatory Agency have not fulfilled their commitment to protect the environment and citizens' health.
