The purpose of this research was to promote the knowledge creation mechanism for the physical fitness development of the elderly by increasing physical activity and creating awareness of health to create adequate and appropriate physical activity to reduce sedentary behavior for the elderly. The research objectives were: 1) to create a multi-component physical activity program for improving physical quality of the life of the elderly; and 2) to compare the effects of the multi-component physical activity program before training and after 3 weeks and 6 weeks of training. The samples were 30 elderly people in the age range of 60 to 65 years selected by a purposive sampling method. They were trained with the program for 6 weeks, 3 days per week, 60 minutes each. The data were analyzed by means, standard deviations, and one-way repeated measures ANOVA. The results are as follows: 1) After participating in the multi-component physical activity program, the mean physical fitness was not different from the standard criteria; and 2) The overall physical fitness of both the elderly males and females participating in the training program before the experiment, 3 weeks and 6 weeks after the experiment was improved.
