- Abstract
The article discusses developments related to the diagnosis and management of fibromyalgia. Symptoms of fibromyalgia include chronic widespread pain, fatigue, nonrestorative sleep and cognitive dysfunction. In diagnosing the condition, physicians are advised to perform a comprehensive clinical evaluation, taking into account all core symptom components, comorbidities and current use of medications.
