- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of informal learning environment in science education. Informal learning is defined as science learning that occurs outside the school realm. Museums, science centers and planetariums are the potential education venues to illustrates and discuss topics ranging from taxonomy to evolution. The National Science Teachers Association adheres educators to consider and include informal environments in the design of high-quality science learning experiences.
