- Abstract
The authors comment on a study which revealed the significant correlation of prolonged time between initial trauma and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction to the prevalence of medial meniscus lesions at the time of reconstruction. They claim that it is risky to draw conclusions based on the presented study because the failure of the researchers to compare patients to a control group. They also claim that a randomized controlled trial is the only appropriate method.
