An essay is presented on men in Israel and the relationship between Jewish and secular law in the nation as of May 2013, focusing on religious law and the impact of Jewish legal developments in the U.S. on developments in Israel. Jewish Orthodoxy is addressed, along with an analysis of the treatment of women in Israel. The Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance and gender equality in Israel are examined, along with Orthodox rabbis and Israeli decisional law.
