- Abstract
The article discusses the use of Marmosets as an animal model for Japan's brain mapping project named Brain/MINDS (Brain Mapping by Integrated Neurotechnologies for Disease Studies) for studying human neural and mental disorders. The marmoset brain is just like the human brain, with the frontal lobe being more developed as compared to the frontal lobe of other animals. Hence, it states that studies of human diseases such as Parkinson, Alzheimer, schizophrenia and autism can be possible.
