- Abstract
The article presents a discussion by Anselm and the Fool on Pegasus' powers. Anselm claims that mediated causal powers given by story-tellers, including the power to fly, entertain and inspire people. The Fool clarifies that beings existing in reality have at least some unmediated causal powers while beings existing only in the understanding have only mediated causal powers. The Fool talks about two kinds of mediated causal powers--those that are attributed to it in stories, and those that arise from unmediated causal powers of acts of relating stories.
