- Abstract
Pınar İlkkaracan is a psychotherapist, researcher, and co-founder of several non-governmental organizations, including the Women's Human Rights Project and the International New Ways Foundation. The book Women and Sexuality in Muslim Societies comprises a compilation of articles exploring the topics of women and sexuality in various countries such as Turkey, Palestine, Algeria, and Iran. The articles in this study examine the varied impact of women and sexuality in Muslim societies from different perspectives, considering their socio-cultural, political, religious, and economic dimensions. The work contains a “Preface”, a combined version of the “Introduction” with the article, thirteen articles, and a section dedicated to the authors. The study includes two articles authored by the compiler and the remaining articles were written by researchers from different geographical locations.
