- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to uncover the relationship between teachers' perceptions of self-censorship and perceptions of gender equity, organizational ostracism, and organizational obstruction. The correlational research method, which is one of the quantitative methods, was used for the study. Data were collected from 493 secondary school teachers working in public service throughout Bolu province in the academic year 2020-2021. The results of the study show that there is a low negative significant relationship between teachers' perception of self-censorship and gender equity and its sub-dimensions. On the other hand, it was found that there is a low positive significant relationship between teachers' perception of self-censorship and organizational obstruction, organizational ostracism and its sub-dimensions. In the context of these findings, it was noted that teachers need to censor themselves in their perceptions of organizational ostracism and organizational obstruction, and it is suggested that democratic work environments be created in schools.
