- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the attraction of lacewing species, Chrysopidae, to synthetic bait floral compounds and aphid sex pheromone compounds in Hungary. It says that both sexes of the Chrysoperla cornea were attracted to the synthetic floral bait, while Chrysopa formosa expressed minimal attraction. Results show that floral bait has the potential to manipulate both sexes of cornea, while aphid sex pheromone can be used to improve biological control of aphids.
