- Abstract
Starting from considering cities as spaces in constant construction in which not only multiple practices and ways of life are expressed, but also the struggles for the power of enunciation, the material and symbolic diversities and inequalities. This work aims to give an account of the way in which the youth of the city of Perico, province of Jujuy, attached to and attached to Parkour, build their experience in the city, living, reproducing, transgressing and negotiating conditions of inequality, also recognizing in these processes the inequities and power relations that exist between genders. Parkour as a body practice based on the tracing through various spaces of the cities through multiple movements that must be fundamentally fluid, emerged with intensity in recent years and demands to be explored to glimpse the various contemporary communication processes in this locality. In this task, the present investigation is presented as a description and interpretation from a sociocultural perspective of cities and youth, supported by ethnographic work that enabled us to understand social processes from the perspective of young protagonists. Interviews, dialogues, participant and non-participant observation in the field give body and support to the reflections proposed here.
