- Abstract
This article provides an overview Of the transformation of the antigender movement since seminal United Nations events in the 1990s, and it seeks to locate these ejforts along a historical spectrum of various exclusionary legal discourses. This article thoroughly examines two case studies to understand the evolution of the anti-gender movement during modern times. These case studies link the current narratives used against transgender, gender non-conforming, gender nonbinary, and intersex individuals across anti-democratic movements. The article aims to highlight the flawed science and contradictions used in the service of these campaigns that are founded on sexism, racism, and other discriminatory principles.
