- Abstract
Objective To screen the salt-tolerant bacteria used in the wastewater of salted processing of Undaria pinnatifida. Methods Using the tail water from the salted processing of Undaria pinnatifida as the medium, 4 salt-tolerant strains were screened out according to the removal rate of chemical oxygen demand (CODMn), the removal rate of mannitol and the biomass. The 4 strains were applied to the tail water of the salted wakame processing respectively, and the 72-hour growth curve was determined with the CODMn removal rate as the main indicator, and the optimal culture time of each strain was optimized. Then the 4 strains were mixed and applied to the tailwater of the salting processing of Undaria pinnatifida to determine the best inoculation amount and culture time. Results The 4 strains were identified as Metschnikowiabicuspidata, Sphingomonas, Rhodotorulamucilaginosa and Cobetia, respectively. The CODMn removal rates of all strains reached the maximum value after 48 h, and the removal rates were 84.90%, 77.40%, 79.20% and 70.80%, respectively. The optimal inoculation amount of the 4 strains was 3%, the optimal culture time was 60 h, and the CODMn removal rate reached 83.49% under the condition of 28 ℃ and 150 r/min shaking table reaction. Conclusion The salt-tolerant strains screened out in this study effectively reduce the CODMn in the tail water of the blanching of Undaria pinnatifida, which is of great significance for practical application.
