- Abstract
From the history of our civilizations, we know that women have always played a significant role in social flows. "She" was a ruler and decisive factor as "she" was the case with the Emperors Hachepsut and Nefertiti, Elena from Troya and Cleopatra of Egypt, respectively Elizabeth I, Maria Curie or Thatcher. Strong female characters played more important or less important roles thanks to their wisdom, intelligence, and inventiveness. Many of them possessed great talent and knowledge, developed consciousness and historical role for the meaning of certain domains, among which the domain of culture is especially distinguished and cultural heritage. Today in the epoch of post modernization and globalization are changes the profile of the classic stereotype for a woman. What are its basic features? As the contemporary woman copes with the demands of the contemporary civilization and urbanization? What does today mean - business = woman? Whether in is such a context preserved the principle of gender equality?
