As a chain that connects the ways of discovering perpetrators of organized forms of criminality with the need for their protection, the collaborator of justice appears as a person that faces criminal charges, or was convicted, of having taken part in an association of criminals or other criminal organization of any kind, or in organised crime offences but agrees to co-operate with criminal justice authorities, particularly by giving information on the criminal association or organization or any criminal offence connected with organised crime. The subject of this paper is the collaborator of justice regulated by the criminal law of Macedonia. Through the method of analysis, the comparative method, the method of synthesis and generalization in this paper, we will try to give an overview of this term.
