- Abstract
The article proposes a lifeSPANS approach to addressing child obesity in Australia. It highlights the role of schools in solving the child obesity epidemic through school-based policies to support healthy eating and physical activity. The importance of adjusting food prices in relation to nutritional content is discussed, as well as the effect of commercial food advertisements on food choices of consumers.
