- Title
EXPERIENCING GOD AS MOTHERLY.
- Authors
Bulkeley, Tim
- Abstract
The article discusses ways in which Christians might enable themselves and others to experience motherly love from God. Topics addressed include how King David in the Old Testament likened Israel's relationship with God to that of a toddler and his mother, biblical passages showing God providing food and clothing which was considered women's work in the ancient Near East, and the difficulty of experiencing the full richness of God if public worship only presents male images of God.
