The article presents a study about obesity and talks about the advantages and disadvantages of protein intake and its repercussions on health. It discusses how excess protein has a negative impact on the body and a guarded intake is beneficial for ones metabolic health. The study observes that a restricted intake of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) restores metabolic health .
