- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that reflects on the development of the animal model that resembles Hantavirus infection in rodent hosts and also focuses on the isolation of a cell line from Myodes rufocanus bedfordiae. It states that Hantaviruses cause two human illnesses hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and Hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome (HCPS). The study reveals that hamsters can be used as a suitable model for studying hantavirus infection.
