The article discusses the findings of a survey of young people published by the Sex Education Forum which shows that schools delay sharing information or topics about puberty. It notes that 24 percent of girls only learn about menstruation after they have already had their periods, while 38 percent of boys already experienced wet dreams before the subject is discussed in sex education class. It cites that 30.4 percent of students aged 11-25 do not learn how their body changes during puberty.
