- Abstract
TNFAIP3 gene polymorphisms in three common autoimmune diseases: systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and primary Sjogren syndrome-Association with disease susceptibility and clinical phenotypes in Italian patients. Recently, it was reported that juvenile systemic lupus erythematosus (jSLE) could be manifested as retinal vasculitis (RV), which represents a very rare manifestation of SLE.[1] This study's results suggest that jSLE may affect the choroid. Sir, the genomic revolution in translational medicine nowadays has not escaped the attention of clinicians and researchers focusing on the medical management of various diseases appearing with uncommon manifestations.
