- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the effects of introducing a social feeling to a web site to the way people felt about it, and consequently, the company it represents. It references the article "How Website Socialness Leads to Website Use," co-authored by Robin and Kirk Wakefield, Julie Baker and Liz Wang, which appeared in the "European Journal of Information Systems" in January 2011. It is found out that social interaction keeps people on the site because there is something to interact with.
